Why we call it Bear

Many people ask us why we called our project BEAR?

The bear symbolizes strength and gentleness, leadership and care. In children's stories and cartoons, bears are often depicted as cuddly and friendly, reminding us that true greatness lies in how one treats others, showing that even the biggest and most powerful can be sweet and comforting.

In the realm of construction, this metaphor holds profound significance. The building industry is responsible for 37% of the world's energy-related emissions, a heavy burden that weighs on our conscience. As we undertake this project, we are acutely aware of the impact of our choices. This is not about creating impressive forms for their own sake; it is about making conscious and sincere decisions that contribute to the global dialogue on building sustainability. We strive to "BEAR" this heavy weight responsibly, integrating sustainable practices and materials.

Let the old "BEAR" the new, let the past "BEAR" tomorrow. Let the heavy "BEAR" the light, and let concrete "BEAR" wood. Our building stands grand and imposing, reminiscent of a bear's formidable size and strength. Yet, within its sturdy walls, it promises warmth and refuge—a sanctuary of peace and comfort, with the scent of wood filling the air. This blend of strength and gentleness, mirroring the bear's dual nature, guides our approach to creating spaces that are both robust and sensitive.

Yours sincerely,
